Soccer Tours to Brazil 2008


If you are a coach and would like to bring your team on our Soccer tour, simply send in your request form, and we will organize everything for you.  We will make the airline reservations, Hotel accommodations, ground transportation, set up appropriate skill and age group competitions, organize sightseeing tours, we will even provide you with a list of "what to pack".  All you need to do is bring your team.

If you are an individual player, simply fill out the players application form.  We will organize you into the appropriate age and skill level team to compete on one of our individual player teams.

The itinerary listed below is our basic tour package, it can be modified to better fit the needs of your team.  Competitions will be scheduled to the fit the age group, gender and skill levels of your team. Tour Price;

Day 1 Departure from US for your overnight flight to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
 

Day 2 Copacabana Beach
On arrival at Rio de Janeiro International Airport, our local representative and a privately chartered motor coach and driver will meet you and transfer the group to our hotel located 1 block from  Copacabana beach, for our six-night stay in RIO.
We will spend some time settling into the accommodations and in the afternoon transfer to our first training session in the beach of Copacabana.
After training we have some free time to explore the local area or relax at the beach, followed by dinner.

 
Day 3 Sugar Loaf
After breakfast, we will transfer you to your first practice. Following practice, you will visit the principal postcard venue of Rio, the Sugar Loaf. A two stage-cable car will take you to the top of the Sugar Loaf Mountain where we will have an astonishing view of Guanabara Bay, Copacabana, and Ipanema Beaches and the city. Then we will go for a walk on Ipanema Beach. In the afternoon we will visit the hippie market of Ipanema. There are many interesting leather articles and souvenirs to see at.
We will have dinner in a typical Brazilian barbecue house, where all kinds of meats are served.
Day 4 Game 1
After breakfast we will go to our practice.
After the practice we will take a guided motor coach tour of the city of Rio de Janiero. The tour will conclude at the Maracana Stadium, the biggest and most popular soccer stadium in Brazil and home to some of the most important games in world soccer history. We will also visit the soccer museum, with pictures of Pelé and see some photos of the biggest soccer games that have played.
Later we return to Copacabana Beach to participate in pre-arranged Beach Soccer games.
Dinner after the games.
 
Day 5 Game 2 and Christ the Redeemer

After breakfast, you will have your second game against a Brazilian team.
In the afternoon, you will take a tour of the famous Christ the Redeemer, one of the Brazilian landmarks. It is located at Corcovado Hill, where we are going to have incredible views of Rio de Janeiro and understand why it is so famous.
Tonight you will visit the Rio Sul Shopping. It’s time for shopping and to start looking for some gifts to take home!
Dinner will be in one of Rio’s restaurants.

 

Day 6
Game 3 and transfer to Búzios
After breakfast, you will check out of the hotel and head to your third game of the tour. You will compete against another local Rio team and after the game, we will go to the city of Búzios (3 hours from Rio). Búzios is an ecological paradise and home of the most beautiful beaches in the state. We will spend the next 3 nights at a four star hotel located on Geribá Beach.
Dinner will be en route to Búzios.
 

Day 7 Sailing in Búzios
Today, we will have an unforgettable experience! We are going to take a day cruise on a sail boat around the Sea of Búzios. We will spend the day sailing and discovering the wonderful beaches around the area.

Dinner will be served at a restaurant in downtown Búzios and you will have free time to explore the beautiful little city  with a teammate.
 

Day 8 after breakfast we take time to relax today and visit the neighboring cities of Cabo Frio and Arraial de Cabo. Famed for their magnificent beaches and transparent water they are known to the locals as the `Paradise of the Atlantic`. With their plentiful tunes, lagoons, and stretches of sand they are perfect for diving, water-sports, or simply lazing on the beach.
Return to the hotel for dinner.
 

Day 9 After breakfast we transfer to the city of Rio Das Ostras for game 4
Game 4: School vs Rio Das Ostras - 10am
Dinner at Buzios


After the morning game, we will head back to the hotel to pack up and relax on the beaches. Then, in the afternoon, the bus will take us to the International Airport of Rio de Janeiro.

 


Sadly, it’s time to say goodbye to Brazil. After 10 days of Soccer, sightseeing, and fun, it will be time to take the plane back home to the US.
